A 47-year-old man has been charged after Windsor police say he pointed a weapon at passing cars and pedestrians on Thursday.
Officers responded at around 6 p.m. to a call from Riverside Drive and Ouellette Avenue about a person with a weapon.
A blue .45 airsoft pistol was confiscated.
The man is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, plus two counts of assault with a weapon.
Police believe there may be more victims and have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
The charges have not been proven in court.
