Police are looking for a suspect and a vehicle allegedly connected to at least two thefts in south Windsor earlier this spring.
The first was at around 4 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. Windsor police say a trailer was stolen from a commercial property on the Sixth Concession Road near Provincial Road. A woman drove onto the property in a black pickup truck and left with the trailer, which was recovered about two weeks later.
The second theft was reported to police at around 8 a.m. on Monday, April 1. The vehicle stolen was quickly found in Middlesex County. Surveillance footage showed what appeared to be the same woman using a credit card stolen from the vehicle.
Surveillance camera photos of the suspect and pickup have been released.
The suspect is described as a female with a tanned complexion, standing about 5 feet. At the time of the first theft, she was wearing a black Nike zip-up jacket, black jeans, and black shoes.
The vehicle is described as a black pickup truck with a silver grill, aftermarket tires, and a lift.
