Scott Dixon wins Detroit Grand Prix

New Zealand's Scott Dixon won at the Detroit Grand Prix this weekend making him the first multi-winner this year.

His No. 9 Dallara Honda was steady throughout the race while other drivers had some issues on the downtown track.

Dixon got the lead with 34 laps remaining with a fuel conservation strategy.

This is his second win of the season and the 58th of his career.

Dixon also leads the IndyCar points standing with 216.

Meanwhile, second place went to Sweden's Marcus Erricson after he passed Marcus Armstrong who ended up in third.

Last year's winner, Alex Palou came in 16th place.

The race consists of 100 laps and the Grand Marshall was Smokey Robinson.
