The City of Windsor is offering boat rides to Peche Island again this summer.
The first boat launches from Lakeview Park Marina this Wednesday.
Tours are available every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (weather permitting) until early October.
Peche Island features walking trails, docking facilities, picnic tables and washroom facilities. It was once used as a summer home by Hiram Walker where he had a stable, greenhouse and icehouse in addition to his home.
Tickets for the ferry are $10 a person. Reservations can be made by calling (519) 255-1161.
