A partnership between the Windsor and LaSalle police services has resulted in the arrest of 24 offenders.
The Offender Management Unit was launched three months ago to keep better track of offenders breaching the conditions of their release.
Since then, the unit has completed over 100 compliance checks that led to the arrest of 24 people.
The offenders arrested for breaching their conditions had originally been charged with or convicted of serious violent crimes, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, firearms offences, and sexual assault.
The unit will continue to monitor high-risk individuals placed under house arrest, curfew, or electronic monitoring.
