Windsor police say a man has been arrested following a scary incident in the downtown core.
It happened at around 2 p.m. in the area of Ouellette Avenue and Elliott Street. Police received a complaint about a man chasing someone while brandishing a machete.
Officers arrived and got a description of the suspect, who was quickly found and arrested in the area of Wyandotte Street West and Pelissier.
The 39-year-old is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.
The charge has not been proven in court.
