Lottery luck shines on two Windsor-Essex winners

Two Windsor-Essex residents are smiling all the way to the bank after winning the lottery.

Both came away with thousands of dollars in prizes, one with an instant ticket, the other a second prize with Lotto 6/49.

Robert Dikan of Windsor won the top $50,000 prize with an Instant $50K Casino scratch-off ticket.

Dikan purchased his winning ticket at the Busy Bee Convenience Store on Tecumseh Road in Windsor.

Meanwhile, Laresa Grondin of Amherstburg won the second prize in the July 6 Lotto 6/49 draw, which came out to $78,261.10.

Her winning ticket was purchased at the Canadian Tire gas bar in Amherstburg.

Both winners picked up their prize cheques this week at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
