OPP investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian

An 86-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in Leamington.

The Ontario Provincial Police investigators are looking for witnesses to the fatal collision.

Police said the woman was walking in the area of Erie Street South and Mill Street around noon on Thursday when she was hit by a vehicle.

She was taken to the hospital and died a short time later.
