UPDATE: Four in hospital after vehicle crashes into a house in Lakeshore

Lakeshore Fire and Rescue have confirmed that two people were displaced after a vehicle struck a house early Monday morning.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called to the home at the corner of Hwy. 77 and County Road 8 in Lakeshore just after 1 a.m.

Four people, including a seven-year-old child, are in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one in the house was hurt, but Lakeshore Fire Chief Jason Suchiu told WindsorNewsToday.ca that the impact caused considerable damage to the home, and two occupants had to find a place to stay.

A damage estimate has not been determined.

Police continue to investigate the crash and ask anyone with information to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
