Two charged after minors sexually assaulted

The Windsor Police Service says it has arrested two suspects after two teen girls were sexually assaulted.

The Major Crimes Unit received a report on Saturday that two girls, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, had been sexually assaulted by two men on several occasions the previous week.

One suspect was arrested on Saturday and the other turned himself in on Tuesday.

Ahmad Alkhatib, 42, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, overcoming resistance to administer a drug, and distributing cannabis to a person under 19.

Mohamad Dayoob, 21, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.

The charges have not been proven in court.
