Windsor police are hoping someone can help identify two people suspected of setting a pair of vehicles on fire overnight.
Officers responded at around 1 a.m. Tuesday to a home on Langlois Avenue off Ottawa Street. They noticed a minivan and a sedan engulfed in flames. Firefighters were called and they quickly put out the fires.
"Through investigation, officers obtained video footage showing two suspects arriving at the scene in a white SUV with an aftermarket exhaust," read a tweet from Windsor police. "The suspects doused the sedan with a liquid substance before setting it on fire and fled south on Langlois Avenue."
No one was injured, but police say both vehicles were destroyed.
Investigators from the Windsor police arson unit are taking a closer look at the incident, and have asked neighbours to check any security camera footage and call them if they see something unusual.
