UPDATE: Fire displaces eight in Windsor

Eight people will have to find another place to stay for the foreseeable future after a fourplex caught fire in Windsor early Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to the fire at the corner of Riverside Drive West and Cameron Boulevard at 4:33 a.m.

Social media photos showed flames shooting from the roof, but Windsor Fire and Rescue Services Fire Prevention Officer Mike Coste said no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, but the damage is estimated at $950,000.
