Improvements get underway this week in two Windsor parks

The City of Windsor is informing residents about work in two municipal parks this week.

Crews will install a new surface layer and boundary lines on the tennis courts and pickleball courts in Remington Booster Park.

The work begins on Monday, so the pickleball and tennis courts, along with other park amenities like the basketball court, will be closed for a week.

On Wednesday, a section of the riverfront trail will close to replace the asphalt at the Legacy Beacon construction site.

The closure is from Crawford Avenue to the C.M.H. Woods Pumping Station.

There's a detour planned until the section reopens around 5 p.m. on Friday.
