Driver charged following Kingsville crash

A 21-year-old man has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a crash early Monday morning.

Officers from the Kingsville detachment were on the scene of the single-vehicle collision on County Road 20 at around 1 a.m.

Following an investigation, a driver from Kingsville was arrested.

He is charged with impaired driving, driving with an excessive blood-alcohol level, dangerous driving, and being a young driver with a blood-alcohol content above zero.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and a 90-day licence suspension was imposed.

The charges have not been proven in court. The driver will be able to respond in a Windsor court on September 27.
