Propeller worth $20K stolen from Leamington business

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a propeller was stolen from a local property.

Police say it happened between 11 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, and 1 a.m. on Friday, September 6.

Multiple people broke into the business on Milo Road in Leamington and took the propeller, valued at about $20,000.

A small sedan with a trailer attached to it was seen in the area at the time the theft took place.

The propeller is described as bronze, approximately 50 inches in diameter, with a serial number #1346-R-1064.

The OPP's Essex County Community Street Crime Unit is handling the investigation.

Anyone with information should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
