Woman charged with stunt driving in Lakeshore

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a driver will try public transit for a while after being cited for stunt driving.

An officer from the Lakeshore detachment was on patrol along Lakeshore Road 113 when they clocked a vehicle going 135 kilometres per hour at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The vehicle was stopped in a 60-kilometre-per-hour zone.

The 49-year-old woman behind the wheel was ticketed for stunt driving.

The vehicle was towed to an impound yard, where it will stay for 14 days, and the woman's licence was suspended for 30 days.
