Police investigate after accident involving a pedestrian

A pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car on Dougall Avenue Tuesday night.

Windsor police responded to the collision on Dougall Avenue at Roseland Drive around 11 p.m.

They learned a vehicle travelling northbound on Dougall hit a pedestrian. The driver remained on the scene.

Paramedics took the 25-year-old to the hospital, and they remain in the intensive care unit.

The investigation is ongoing.
