UPDATE: OPP investigating single-vehicle crash on E.C. Row Expressway

The westbound lanes of the E.C. Row Expressway are open again after a single-vehicle crash shut those lanes down at Huron Church Road.

The Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched around 8:18 a.m. on Thursday after a vehicle left the road just west of Huron Church and drove into a ditch.

The OPP said the vehicle left the road Wednesday night around 11:45 p.m. The driver remained there until emergency services were notified early Thursday morning.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle. Paramedics took them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and the OPP ask anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
