Wanted fugitive arrested in Windsor

Windsor police arrested a 26-year-old wanted on multiple warrants throughout Ontario.

The man was discovered in Windsor after a disturbance downtown on September 16. Bail compliance officers immediately launched an investigation.

On Tuesday, the man was arrested by Windsor Police with the help of the Ontario Provincial Police-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad on Wellington Avenue.

The 26-year-old was wanted on numerous charges including assault, uttering threats to cause death, obstructing a peace officer, dangerous operation of a conveyance, failure to stop after an accident, and failure to comply with probation by the Toronto Police Service and the OPP Detachments in Mississauga and Cochrane.

He was turned over to the OPP to face the charges against him.
