Police look for truck linked to arson investigation

Windsor police are looking for a dark-coloured pickup truck in connection to an arson in Amherstburg last week.

On September 22, officers responded to a fire at a home on Cowan Court. When they arrived, the house was engulfed in flames.

The structure was vacant at the time and no one was physically injured. The property sustained over $1.6 million in damage.

The Windsor Police Arson Unit determined the fire was intentionally set.

Security camera footage shows a pickup truck in the area at the time of the incident. The truck is believed to be a dark grey late model Ford F-150, possibly a PowerBoost hybrid model.

Anyone who can identify the truck is asked to contact the Windsor Police Arson Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4330.
