Brentwood Dream Lottery tickets available

The Brentwood Dream Home Lottery, one of Ontario's longest-running home lotteries, celebrates its 33rd year.

The lottery organizers say over $1.3-million in cash and prizes are up for grabs this year, including a home built by NOR-Built Construction in Amherstburg's Brittany Gate development.

Tickets are on sale, and the grand prize draws are on January 11 at 1 p.m. at Brentwood Recovery Home in Windsor.

While tickets are only available on Brentwood's website at the moment, they can be purchased in person at the facility starting Tuesday, October 9.

This year's lottery features 80 prizes, including weekly cash prizes, four Early Bird Draws for $25,000, and 20 Grand Prize Draws for cash, cars, and the home in Amherstburg.

There's also a $60,000 cash prize recognizing Brentwood's 60th anniversary and a bonus 50/50 draw where the winner will take home half of the jackpot. Last year's winner won over $140,000.

The draw is Brentwood's biggest fundraiser of the year and helps support critical programs and services for those recovering from addiction.

"In a time when people are hurting and having trouble finding the help they need in the community, we need to do more," said Executive Director Elizabeth Dulmage. "Every ticket sold means we can do more to help and ensure the needs of clients and the community are being met."
