Second suspect arrested in car shooting

Officers found out about the shooting on September 19. They heard the night before two armed suspects got into an argument in the Glengarry Avenue area with another person when one fired his gun at the victim's vehicle.

No one was hurt, but the bullet struck the vehicle's door.

Three days later, police arrested 33-year-old Wayne MacKay at a home on Assumption Street and charged him with possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of an unauthorized firearm, possession of a restricted or prohibited weapon, and possession of a firearm in a vehicle.

Officers arrested the second suspect on Thursday at Windsor Police headquarters. 29-year-old Jordan Jeremy Carter faces eight offences, including possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a restricted firearm, and discharging a firearm.
