Two suspects identified in BB Branded break-in

Windsor police have arrested one suspect and issued an arrest warrant for a second in connection to a robbery at a local store.

On September 23, thieves broke into BB Branded in Devonshire Mall. They loaded around 100 pairs of name-brand shoes, valued at over $7,500, into a pickup truck.

The Windsor Police Target Base unit started an investigation and identified two suspects.

A 50-year-old woman, arrested in Kingsville, faces break-and-enter, possession of break-and-enter tools, possession of stolen property and failure to comply with a release order charges.

Police also issued an arrest warrant for 41-year-old Michael Bernard. He faces charges of break-and-enter, possessing break-and-enter tools, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, and failing to comply with a release order.

Investigators describe Bernard as a white male who is 5’8” with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
