Five displaced after Windsor roof fire

Windsor Fire and Rescue has blamed the heating of roofing material for a house fire on Thursday.

Firefighters were called shortly after 11 a.m. to the home on St. Luke Road near Edna Street.

No one was hurt, but five people are now looking for a place to stay.

The cause of the fire was accidental, with roofing material inadvertently ignited by a propane source.

Damage is estimated at $100,000.
