Windsor suspicious death ruled a homicide

A suspicious death of a 69-year-old man in Windsor has been ruled a homicide.

Police were called to a home on Highland Avenue at around 7:30 a.m. on Friday to investigate a "trouble unknown" call. When they arrived, they found a man who had passed away.

A post-mortem examination done on Saturday determined his death to be a homicide.

At this time, police believe this was an isolated incident and that there’s no risk to the public.

People who live around Highland Avenue between Foch Avenue and Lens Avenue are asked to check their security cameras and dashcams between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
