Arrest warrant issued for suspect in violent Windsor robbery

Windsor police are looking for a suspect in an incident that left a man fighting for his life.

Officers were called at around 9 a.m. Thursday to an alley in the area of Tecumseh Road East near Buckingham Drive and found an injured man. He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in intensive care.

Police learned that the victim had been brutally beaten by another man as they left a nearby establishment at around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. Security camera footage obtained by police appeared to show the victim being struck multiple times in the head.

A warrant has been issued for Charles Leighton Taylor Pinnance, 34, who is wanted on charges of robbery with violence and aggravated assault.

Pinnace is described as a Black male, 5’ 10”, approximately 200 pounds, with black dreadlocks and brown eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you recognize him, do not approach him yourself and call 911 immediately.
