When it comes to collisions and driving infractions in 2024, Windsor drivers are among the worst.
A study done by MyChoice, one of Canada's leading insurance technology companies, ranked Windsor as Ontario's ninth most dangerous city to drive in.
The study used data collected from over 150,000 car insurance quotes since 2020, including collision and infraction records. A scoring system, which weighted the severity of driving charges, was then used to identify which cities were riskiest for drivers.
The data showed that 11.94 per cent of drivers in Windsor have infractions on their records, and 12.44 per cent of drivers have made insurance claims due to a crash.
According to the study's data, Toronto was the safest city to drive in this year, while Brantford was the most dangerous.
