LaSalle Police are investigating after the body of an unknown man was found in the Detroit River Wednesday morning.
Investigators were called around 9 a.m. to the area near Fighting Island.
The body was retrieved from the water and police are investigating the identity of the person and circumstances surrounding this incident.
Police are not releasing any further details at this time.
