One person has been arrested in a joint operation between Windsor police and LaSalle police.
On Friday, officers from Windsor police's Drugs and Guns Enforcement (DIGS) Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Rivard Avenue near Tecumseh Road East.
A 39-year-old man at the location was arrested. When he was searched, police found 15.6 grams of fentanyl, and 1.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
A search of the home uncovered 32.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 36 tablets of hydromorphone, two tablets of MDMA, 25 tablets of clonazepam, 17 tablets of diazepam, and 44.1 grams of psilocybin.
A Glock airsoft handgun, a homemade taser, two digital scales, and packaging material were also found.
The suspect's vehicle was also searched with help from LaSalle police. Seven tablets of clonazepam were confiscated.
The total street value of the drugs was $7,144.
The suspect is charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, two counts of possession of crystal methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of hydromorphone with intent to sell, possession of psilocybin with intent to sell, two counts of possession of clonazepam with intent to sell, and possession of diazepam with intent to sell.
The man is also charged with six counts of failure to comply with a release order, three counts of possession of a handmade taser, and 18 counts of operating a vehicle while prohibited.
The charges have not been proven in court.
