The first baby born in 2025 at Windsor Regional Hospital has a name that is out of this world.
The hospital said Jupiter James Timothy Chase-Evans was born at 1:01 a.m. on Wednesday, weighing 9 lbs, 6 oz, measuring 22.5 inches long.
Jupiter is Marissa Chase and Brandan Evans's third child. They arrived at Windsor Regional Hospital around 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve. They're looking forward to introducing their new baby to its two siblings, a five-year-old brother and a two-year-old sister.
"Brother and sister can't wait," said Evans.
"It felt like it took forever, but Dad says it went fast," said Chase about her labour. She said it was shorter than what she endured in the first two deliveries.
