Drivers from Essex, Windsor, and Leamington face impaired driving charges after the Ontario Provincial Police investigated three incidents over a few hours.
The incidents are all separate, and the drivers are not connected.
The first incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday when the Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint about a driver on County Road 12 in Essex.
The officer located the vehicle and the driver and charged a 29-year-old Essex woman with two counts of impaired driving.
A second driver was arrested an hour later in Lakeshore after someone called the OPP to complain about a vehicle that stopped on County Road 22.
The officer arrested a 40-year-old Windsor man for impaired driving and two counts of resisting arrest.
Then, just after midnight on Sunday morning, an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle driven by an allegedly impaired driver on Erie Street North in Leamington.
The OPP charged a 34-year-old Leamington man.
All three drivers also had their driver's licenses suspended for 90 days and their vehicles impounded for a week.
The OPP always tell the public to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if they suspect an impaired driver behind the wheel.
