Alleged drug dealer and surety face charges in bail violation

For the second time since his original drug trafficking offence, a 41-year-old man is charged with violating the conditions of his bail.

Justin Brouillard was charged in March with drug trafficking after Windsor Police seized 367 grams of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

The first time police said he was caught allegedly violating his release order was in August. The court released him on bail again with conditions that included house arrest and electronic monitoring.

The latest arrest was on Thursday on Westminster Blvd. between Lassaline Avenue and Reginald Street.

Brouillard's surety, the person who agreed to supervise him while he was out on bail, is also charged. A 62-year-old man faces a charge of facilitating a breach of a release order.

Windsor Police say Brouillard is the 64th repeat offender arrested by the Offender Management Unit since it launched a year ago.
