ESHF urges public to put it over the top in its fundraising for new MRI

Erie Shores Health Foundation is calling on the community one last time to donate funds to pay for its new permanent MRI.

The MRI suite opened last week, but the community still has to raise $1.5-million of its $5-million fundraising goal. The foundation has launched the One Week, One Million initiative to reach that milestone.

"Raising the remaining $1.5-million means that our community will have access to state-of-the-art advanced MRI imaging on a permanent basis," said the foundation's executive director, Penny Bellhouse. "It also means that we can move forward on the next steps in the Erie Shores Healthcare vision to revitalize our hospital and further advance care in our community. We are so close!"

Donations can be made online, by mail, or in person. The ESHF office is in the Leamington Medical Village at 197 Talbot Street West.

So far, donors such as Sun-Brite, Unico, Neighbourhood Charitable Alliance, Abraham Orthodontics, and Dougal Diamond Farms have donated to the cause already.
