One woman was arrested after the Windsor Police Service seized over $6,700 in drugs.
An investigation was launched into a 51-year-old woman by the Drugs and Guns Enforcement Unit (DIGS) suspected of trafficking drugs.
On Thursday, February 13 at 1:30 p.m. police saw activity consistent with drug trafficking and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Howard Avenue and Logan Avenue.
When police searched the suspect they seized 1.4 grams of crack cocaine and $20 in cash.
A search warrant was executed for a residence at the intersection of Ottawa Street and Marentette Avenue.
Investigators found 51.1 grams of crack cocaine, 12.8 grams of cocaine, a scale, debt list, packaging and $60 in cash.
When police searched the suspect's vehicle they found an additional 0.5 grams of crack cocaine, $1,445 in Canadian cash and $109 in American cash.
Police said the total value of drugs was $6,790.
The 51-year-old was charged with two counts of trafficking in a control substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of operation while prohibited.
