The Town of Tecumseh got good news when the results of a recent citizen survey came back, showing most consider their quality of life either good or very good.
The telephone survey by Nanos Research Inc. had responses from 400 residents between February 5 and March 3.
Eight in ten indicated they were satisfied with their quality of life. The same number said they would recommend Tecumseh as a place to live, and 94 per cent say it's a good place to raise a family.
When it comes to municipal services, 93 per cent surveyed said they were somewhat to very satisfied, while 74 per cent said they approve of how the town deals with concerns, up from 63 per cent in 2023.
Residents cited road infrastructure, sewer/water infrastructure, policing, traffic and cycling infrastructure as areas the town could improve.
