Arena, school now on list of potential measles exposure points

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) has added three locations as possible measles exposure points.

On Friday, the health unit reported potential exposures at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre in Leamington at the following days and times.

  • Tuesday, March 18, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Wednesday, March 19, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 20, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Friday, March 2, from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Two possible exposure times were reported at Erie Migration District School in Kingsville.

  • Wednesday, March 26, from 10:45 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 27, from 10:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Health officials also warn about a possible exposure at the Erie Shores Healthcare emergency department between Sunday, March 23, at 9:15 p.m., and Monday, March 24, at 10:20 a.m.

The health unit is urging anyone who has been to these locations at the disclosed times and is not vaccinated to attend a Measles Assessment Clinic at Erie Shores Healthcare by Sunday for vaccination.
