UPDATE: One charged after east Windsor crash

Windsor Police have arrested a 40-year-old man after a crash late Monday night.

Two vehicles collided around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Lauzon Parkway and Tecumseh Road East. When police arrived, they found two badly damaged vehicles and three people with significant injuries.

Police say that a silver sedan going southbound on Lauzon Parkway ran a red light and hit a black sedan travelling westbound on Tecumseh Road East.

The driver and passenger in the black sedan were rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the silver sedan had serious injuries, and police determined that he was also impaired.

The latter driver is charged with two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
