Windsor police conducted a crackdown on retail theft, and a man wanted for shoplifting has been arrested.
Officers with the Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit teamed up last week with the loss-prevention teams at Marshalls and Winners to identify suspected shoplifters.
Between Tuesday and Thursday last week, officers arrested 12 people, executed one warrant, and laid ten charges.
On Saturday, police located and arrested a 33-year-old man who was wanted for a series of thefts at businesses across Windsor.
He is charged with four counts of theft under $5,000.
All charges have yet to be proven in court.
