Health unit adds seven potential measles exposure points

The list of possible measles exposure points in Windsor-Essex remains a long one.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) reported seven possible exposure points on Monday.

They are as follows.

  • The office of optometrist Dr. Robin Deans, 1270 Walker Road, Windsor, on Friday, April 4 between 3:50 p.m. and 6:55 p.m.

  • Multi-Food Super Market, 799 Crawford Avenue, Windsor, on Friday, April 4, between 5:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

  • Kingsville Home Hardware Building Centre, 226 Main Street West, Kingsville, on Saturday, April 5 between 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

  • Canadian Tire, 262 Erie Street South, Leamington, on Saturday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

  • Burger King, 300 Erie Street South, Leamington, on Sunday, April 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • La Hacienda Restaurant, 25 Talbot Street East, Leamington, on Monday, April 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

  • Blytheswood Old Colony Church. 31 Pickwick Drive, Leamington, on Sunday, March 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

As of Monday evening, the health unit had confirmed eight cases so far for April.
