The City of Windsor and the County of Essex need public input as they work to update the Regional Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.
The plan, developed four years ago, is a partnership between the city and the county in collaboration with local agencies and organizations.
It aims to identify and address risks in the community before they result in crime, victimization, or harm.
"It recognizes that social issues are complex and require both proactive and reactive solutions to address incidents," said a release.
Residents can share their priorities for action at one of two Zoom meetings this week.
The first Zoom meeting is for residents in Windsor. It's on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Registration is required and available by visiting the Windsor Zoom registration page.
The second is on Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for county residents, and registration is available on the County of Essex Zoom registration page.
An online survey will open on May 16 and end on May 30.
