Police search for fraud suspect

Windsor police are looking for a suspect wanted for allegedly defrauding a currency exchange of $130,000 in U.S. cash.

According to police, a woman entered the store on Dougall Avenue on May 1, 2025 and allegedly used a fake Canadian passport to obtain the funds.

The suspect is described as a White woman, around 35 to 45 years old, with a medium build, and long brown hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and black running shoes.

She is wanted on five charges, including fraud over $5,000, uttering a forged passport, and possession of property obtained by crime.
