Just a month after he was arrested for a string of commercial break-ins, a Windsor man is facing charges again.
Windsor police were called to a break-in at a business on Kew Drive on June 14. Surveillance video showed two suspects cutting the lock the front gate around 4 a.m. The suspects then used a forklift to load aluminum fixtures into a rental vehicle. The car was then crashed through the gate causing significant damage.
One of the suspects was identified and was arrested on June 18 on Legacy Park Drive. The damaged rental vehicle was recovered from the scene.
The 38-year-old was charged with break and enter, and failure to comply with a release order.
The same man was linked to a series of break-ins at several local businesses which resulted in the theft of over $100,000 of property.
A second suspect who has not been identified is described as a white man, 40 to 50 years old. At the time of the incident, he wore a black hooded sweater, blue jeans, and black shoes.
