Windsor police have once again raided a downtown business, seizing thousands of dollars worth of products.
Members of the Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit went into action at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the business on Ouellette Avenue off Park Street.
Police confiscated the following items.
136 bags of dried psilocybin, or "magic mushrooms"
108 bottles of psilocybin capsules
98 psilocybin chocolate bars
44 packages of psilocybin gummies
Four bags of psilocybin candy
One DMT vape cartridge
The total worth of the seized items was $21,110.
A 33-year-old employee who was on the premises at the time has been arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule III substance with intent to sell, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
The charges have not been proven in court.
This has been at least the eighth time this business has been raided since the summer of 2023. The most recent was in May.
