A Lighthouse Cove resident was found guilty of hunting without a license after shooting two red foxes on his property.
The court heard that conservation officers investigated a tip that the foxes were shot in the community.
They determined the foxes were shot with a .22 caliber rifle at the man's home. He did not have a valid small game hunting licence.
The man was fined $1,000 after the case was heard by Justice of the Peace Holly R. Debacker in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor back in February.
