A 55-year-old Richmond Hill man faces charges after border guards at the Ambassador Bridge discovered two suitcases and five garbage bags full of bricks of cocaine.
Back in May, the Canada Border Services Agency said it made the find in the trailer of a commercial truck entering Canada from the U.S.
Officers believe the haul, 61 bricks, is worth $23.4-million.
The suspect and the suspected cocaine were turned over to the RCMP, and the man is charged with importing cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The investigation into the seizure is ongoing.
