Windsor police have reported two arrests made after using automated license plate recognition (ALPR) technology.
An officer was patrolling the area of Walker Road and Seymour Boulevard on Saturday night when they received an ALPR alert about stolen licence plates.
It turned out that the vehicle, a 2013 pickup truck, had been stolen the previous week from the Town of Essex.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the two occupants were arrested. A search found 34 grams of crystal methamphetamine, two digital scales, two knives, brass knuckles, and a small amount of money.
A 62-year-old man is charged with possession of stolen property.
A 39-year-old woman is charged with possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, possession of stolen property, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The charges have not been proven in court.
