The storm that hit Wheatley this past weekend is now being recorded as a downburst.
According to the Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP), an EF0 downburst happened Sunday morning just north of the Chatham-Kent community.
One barn was severely damaged, with some farmers reporting damage to their crops. The NTP said a trampoline was lifted by the strong wind and flung.
A max wind speed of 130 km/h was recorded. No injuries were reported.
