Counsellor facing six additional sexual assault charges

A local counsellor is facing additional sexual assault charges after more victims came forward with allegations.

Mental health and addictions counsellor Tim Baxter, 67, was charged with the sexual assault of two patients in July 2025. 

Windsor police report that after the charges were made public, six more individuals came forward with similar allegations.

An investigation by the Major Crimes Branch led to six additional counts of sexual assault.

None of the charges have been proven in court.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830.
