Open house meeting set to talk about new development near airport

The City of Windsor is holding a public open house at the Windsor International Airport on Tuesday to talk about opening up more land for business development.

The city is moving ahead with the second phase of its Windsor Works Economic Development Strategy, which would open another 93 hectares of land near the airport for development.

The plan ensures the city has shovel-ready land available for investors, giving it a significant advantage over other communities that are also vying for new investment.

Tuesday's meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Windsor International Airport.

Those interested in going are advised to register ahead of time by emailing YQGLands@dillon.ca by noon on Tuesday. A link will be emailed to participants upon registration.
