Carrousel of the Nations named Ontario's top festival... again!

For the third year in a row, the Carrousel of the Nations has been named the top festival or event in Ontario.

This year, the honour from Attractions Ontario is particularly meaningful, as Carrousel celebrates its 50th anniversary.

"We are incredibly proud that Ontario's top festival is located right here in our community of Windsor-Essex," said the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County's Executive Director, Fred Francis. "To be recognized three years in a row among more than 2,000 festivals across the province is both an extraordinary honour and a historic achievement. It reflects the hard work of many cultural villages, the dedication of our volunteers, and the enthusiasm of the community."

This year's Carrousel of the Nations was in Windsor, Amherstburg, Kingsville, and Leamington, over two weekends, June 13 to June 15 and June 20 to June 22.

Work is already underway on the 51st edition.
